SKINCARE FAVORITES: cleansers

skincare-ks

Hey friends! The other night I was doing my nightly routine, and thought about the idea of getting back into posting regularly as a New Years Resolution. Immediately, the worries settled in as I tried to think about what I would post, and what my readers would like to see from me.

And then it hit me like an obvious brick to the face: Skincare.

12-ps

Over the years, I have become skincare obsessed. It’s a real problem and I can’t stop buying products. And while I’ve definitely found some amazing gems, I have also splurged on some products that are just not worth the money/time. Products that make me wish I just hadn’t bothered in the first place.

If you’re like me and want some great product recommendations, or want to get into skincare and have no idea where to start, here’s my top favorites for you!

Disclaimer: Please take notice that I do have dry skin, so if you are oily/combination these products may not work as well for you. Al opinions are my own, and this is not a sponsored post!

01. PIXI – Glow Mud Cleanser

If you’re looking for a drugstore miracle, then this is the product for you. As you all know by now, ever since I did my PIXI Products Review post, I have been absolutely loving all things Pixi. Their skincare line is the best, and most of their products somehow manage to make it in my top skincare must-haves.

This cleanser is gentle and leaves the skin soft and hydrated. I love that all of their products are 100% cruelty free and gentle. Plus they smell amazing, which is always a plus, am I right?

02. FRESH – Soy Face Cleanser

I love this brand, so when I saw that they made a cleanser that was extra gentle, soothing, and leaves the skin healthy & radiant, without stripping my skin of it’s moisture, I was all over it.

It feels so fresh and luxurious on the skin, and I love using it on evening pamper nights.

03. First Aid Beauty – Face Cleanser

I love to use this skincare line for dry skin. And this one is particularly good for when I need a deeper cleanse, I’m breaking out, or I feel like my skin is inflamed. It’s also really nice at removing makeup, so I’ll typically skip a micellar water or makeup wipes and go straight for this. I also use this after particularly long workouts to deep clean.

If you have dry skin, but find that you break out often, or have irritated skin typically, this is a great product for you!

04. Lacura – Hydrating Face Cleanser

I stumbled upon this on Amazon, and figured I would throw it in my cart since it’s so inexpensive. But honestly, when I got home and tried it a for a few weeks, I couldn’t be more happy with the product – espcecially at it’s price point. It’s gentle, cleansing, and leaves the skin soft and moisturized (are you sensing a theme?). So if you’re looking for a cheap, every day cleanser that’s not too harsh, I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking! I’ve also stumbled upon it at random grocery stores, which is convenient if you’re not much of an online shopper these days.

What are some of your favorite cleansers right now? I would love some suggestions in the comment section!

And as always, thanks for reading!
